Book Talk - The Kite Runner

Kite Runner is one of the books which teachers recommend, however, because of a scene of sexual violence, I would recommend it to grade 10 or up.

This book is so fun and touching that you cannot put it down once you start reading till you finish reading, not wanting to fall asleep nor having a bathroom break. Maybe we may understand the way the son' sees his father when we are aged. I  sympathized to tears the difficulty of immigrants, no matter what races or ethnic group they are. I would recommend this book not only to my students, but also my friends and share book talks after reading.
