A collection of 235 problems that have been posed in the 1968 to 1988 Euclid and Descartes Contests of the Canadian Mathematics Competition. The problems are grouped by topic to allow for easier classroom enrichment use. Complete solutions are provided. Topics include quadratic functions, sequences and series, polynomials, exponents and logarithms, trigonometry, geometry (Euclidean and analytic), systems of equations, combinatorics, elementary calculus. There is also a set of miscellaneous problems and a set of challenge problems. This is a wonderful set of problems for students wishing to develop problem solving skills or for teachers wishing to provide enrichment for their classes.
